Are you guys seeing any mullet or menhaden within cast next throws in the surf? Need to know if I need to bring frozen bait or can catch it when I’m on the beach?

It’s hit or miss, but plenty of bait in the surf. I’d bring bait and try to get some fresh off the beach. It’s not often that pogys come all the way up to the surf but I have seen them do it. Usually right at that time I catch something of size like a big red, ray or shark.
