I haven’t been down there in a while and my dad was wanting to go again. I was just wondering if any quality fish are still being caught there this time of year?
Thanks!

Was there a couple of months ago, did not do well. Some 0f my favorite marks seemed off?? I’m wondering it the storms have not covered some of the riff raff? Did not mark bottom like I usually do in that area.
I’ve never fished this reef, but the fact that it’s so close to shore would make it a convenient spot if it produces fish. What do you usually catch there?
I’ve only caught short C Bass and lost an anchor:face_with_head_bandage:!

Like DoubleN said… Short BSB! Since the new regs I haven’t caught one legal.
Some sheep head, cobia, shark, whiting, Black Drum, winter trout, and have hooked into several mystery fish using big bait on the pen 6/0 that I never got to see.
Don’t go on a windy day. There are some coordinates on DNR sight that is pretty close. My biggest issue is getting anchored just right. may have one person catching fish on one side of the boat and nothing on the other. Ipilot would be nice.
There is a landing on Parris Island that puts you right at it. just be careful coming or going at low tide when you come out of the creek… also no dock at this landing. Run that creek up (not sure the name) just past the golf course and there are some good trout, red, and flounder drops.
