Any sharks in the surf

Are their any sharks in the surf or off piers I want to catch a shark so bad and I want to know is anybody catching sharks.

Not yet.

We caught the first sharpnose of the year the other day on folly but I think it was just an incidental catch and not an indicator of anything

What about the spiny dog sharks.

They’re everywhere but a little out of reach of surf fishermen. Try a pier would be my suggestion

Try off of Sullivan’s island. The spiny dogfish are all over the near shore reefs and the jetties. You can likely catch them from the beach over there.
