Anybody done any fishing since the rain? Looking to try for anything this weekend and looking for some input/advice.
Go fishing:smiley:

bait in the smaller creeks, trout and redfish are biting pretty well, good luck
You will never know unless you go! Good luck and give us a good report!
We’ve been fishing the south end all week, seems the only place on the island that’s anywhere near normal from shore. We caught mullet on the shore and used them, caught lots of Atlantic Sharpnose. The shore along the east is nearly dead for bites.
May try to go on Wednesday. Anybody seen the water conditions improving? Taking someone to target the bull reds. Anybody that can report on whether they have been affected by the freshwater and silt? Thanks in advance.
All things being equal, I would rather be on the water.
Some of the creeks have relatively good looking water while others are really brown and ugly. The main rivers were still really brown yesterday but the fish do not seem to mind. We fished up St Pierre in some really nasty looking water and caught a bunch of trout and 30" redfish. Good luck

Headed down tomorrow and gonna fish up St Pierre. Hopefully we can find a couple of those 30 inchers
Fished The Rocks last Friday afternoon 4 Bulls… Then again on Sunday morning… 64 deg air temp with cloudy, misty conditions… nothing, very little activity showing on the bottom machine. Difference could be the salinity levels as well as a front sitting on top of us. Freshwater was screaming out of the inlet on Sunday morning (first can had a big lean to it) and the water had lot’s of tannin in it.

X2 to what Fortunate Son said…inshore looks OK, lot’s of small trout in the upper/smaller creeks. Trout Tricks and live shrimp seem to be working best right now
