The wife and I are thinking about riding down for the weekend in a couple weeks. Dont think I am gonna bring the boat does there seem to be much action in the surf yet?

Things are just starting to happen. There will be some whiting on the bars and a few trout, reds, and flounder at the inlet mouths North of the State Park. Water is still near 60 degrees. It will get much better toward the end of the month.

I do some guiding, but it’s not my main occupation. I enjoy taking folks who like to learn techniques and patterns for specific inshore/nearshore species. I don’t do the tourist “take me out to catch something” charters.
