Anything on the nearshore reefs these days

Just had a baby and need to get out of the house. A buddy and I are going to try the Fish America reef off of the Calibogue sound. Anything biting out there besides miniature “endangered” Black Sea bass and sharks these days? While I subscribe to the notion that a bad day on the water is better than a good day at work, I would like to bring home dinner at least. Fishing out of an 18’’ sea pro, so the Betsy is likely out.

Sheepshead, red and black drum, summer trout, etc. Fiddlers for bait is a safe bet. I would take a vareity. If you’re not right on the structure you probably won’t be catching anything.
