I have been doing a little fishing from the shore around Parris Island since my trolling motor has been down for parts. I have been sneaking In a hour here and 45 min there trying to catch the tide right and avoid the brutal heat. I have to my surprise caugh fish nearly every time. Caught 3 over slot pigs, a few really nice slot reds, a couple of flounder a bunch of 13" trout, and some 20" plus lady fish. I haven’t caught that many sharks surprisingly. The key seems to be a chartreuse jig head with either a big mud minnow or a chartreuse jig head with chartreuse or chartreuse and black plastics. The last 2 hours of the rising or the fist 3 hrs of the falling have been the best for me.
I will post pictures later. I can’t figure out how to post them from my phone.
