Planned a trip to the 60 but got waylaid by some aggressive chop. So we settled on the 40.
Fished a new spot which produced a dozen of the nearly extinct American Red Snapper, a dozen each of Mr. Pinfish and Mr. Grunt and thankfully, only a few BSBs.
Interestingly, the ARS outnumbered the suddenly MIA BSBs by 3-1, confirming the chatter that the ARS have moved in and are devouring the BSB stocks.
Wave conditions continued to deteriorate, forcing us to tack back to shore. We set up in the South Edisto for a bit, and caught about 10 Whiting. And for the second time in a month, we brought a baby Hammerhead aboard.
That’s a report.
