A fast current and dicey forecast kept us nearshore today. Headed to Tarpon Bank and set up 200 yards from crashing waves. Boated about 50 Whiting, a couple sharks, a fat bluefish that we cut up for bait, and a salt water cat.
The bluefish attracted some massive strikes, one of which snapped a wire leader. Virtually no boat traffic today.
Off for a few days, will post more reports when I get back.
