Nice catch! Did you specifically fish for the catfish or were they caught when you were trying for stripers?
caught while trying for stripers.will be out there early in the morning targeting both.probably won’t catch a dang thing but i won’t be working that’s for sure.
How did you catch the catfish? Cut bait or live herring?
If that is a bad day, I want to go on the good day. Nice catch
we caught themon cut herring while drifting.it was a bad day for stripers.i don’t mind catching catfish at all.i’ll take a catch like that anyday just would’ve liked to caught a few stripers.
I have had a hard time ever since the lake turned over. When I fish for the schooling fish I only catch short ones. But it is hard to resist chasing them when you see them schoolin.
i know what you mean about them schooling, some thing about the chase.are you going to be on the lake this weekend?i will be there fri sat.if you are give me a call.803 422 5288 cell.
Caught good stripers (20" to 30" in length) Friday pm 11/10. Fish were schooling real good to the left side right past the gap going towards Weed’s. Had 4 fish that measured between 28 and 30 inches long and caught about 12-15 total all on top water. All released to fight another day.

dam, how long does it take to clean all them. My motor is a chevy 3.0. the boat is a 19’ galaxy. not realy a fishing boat but it works. It was free, I just had to patch the holes and get it running. I’ll get ahold of you sometime this week. Hopefully see ya out there saturday. Where is park ramp 3, I always launch at the dam. Was thinking of starting to launch at shull launch since it seems like the fish are up there better.
park ramp 3 is about 6 miles past shulls island.it takes about 1 hour per cooler if you don’t stop to drink 1 or 2 or 3.we ended up with little over 125lbs of fillets.just waiting for the crappie to start. going to put COOOLBREEZE on them this year.
