Anyplace to buy Mud Minnows along 174 before getting into Edisto Island?
I haven’t seen anyone selling them but my son has a surprisingly easy time with a few hours with his minnow trap out in a tidal creek near Edisto Marina. Good luck.
No big deal if I can’t find any, just would have picked up some if available.

$6 a dozen at the marina, or $6.50 at EWT. A minnow trap cost about $15 at ace hardware and you’ll catch at least 3 dozen without trying hard.

As long as you can keep thieves from stealing the trap and/or minnows out of it. After my family had the 4th minnow trap stolen and countless traps emptied for us over a three year stretch, we gave up on trying to catch them that way. Take a cast net and catch them that way or pay through the nose.

Where did you set those traps? I have never had a trap stolen. Had the SCDOT bush hog get my rope one time and throw the trap across the road!
2 stolen from culvert crossing under SC174 at Botany Bay Road. The others from in front of bay creek villas
