Glad to see this thread created… Please let me know if things pick up by next weekend. I’ll be down and plan to fish hard.

Hi guys,
I spent the last week there. I live way up a creek and we regularly had numbers of smallish menhaden. Have seen relatively few mullet so far. In the creeks in the S. Edisto the bait is not there in large numbers yet. We were able to find menhaden deep by watching the sounder, out in the Ashepoo river, in 15-25 ft of water. I think it will be a couple weeks till the bait is in thick.

Few bait flipping around bailey bailey island Saturday, many mud minnows in the trap.
Water was really dirty and fish did’t show up. Good day for some blue beers though.
Happy Friday all!
Any changes out there Friday on bait?

2 Weeks ago the menhaden were everywhere in Bailey Creek a couple of hours before low tide, I mean everywhere, I was stunned to see so many and so early
Thanks!

The hadens are now THICK in Charleston. Haven’t been to Edisto in a week or so but I’m sure with the water temp you can probably just about walk across them in Edislow
