Headed to Port Royal in the morning to take some buddys fishing. Any pointers on where to find some menhadden? I was told to check Station Creek and Bay Point.

There was plenty of bait in Station Creek. Just a couple throws filled the tank Fri and Sat.
Headed out to Betsy Ross Fri morn. Trolled live and artificials for the first couple hours. No takers on top so we switched to the bottom. Caught illegal red snapper, undersized sea bass, and an assortment of other feeders.
Stayed inshore Sat and anchored up on the Paris Island reef. Caught black drum, croaker, sharks, and rays.
All in all a successful trip. Everyone had fun and made it home safe. Don’t go near the water festival sand bar party. Just a bunch of drunks and half naked women. Or so we heard.
