Went out after my bad showing on fri with the family and found a huge bar noticed a freakish amount of bait jumping and it looked good,real good. Caught a bunch of whiting and started to red fish. About an hour later put little Pete on his biggest red to date,made me proud Im not sure if he realizes how lucky he is. No fancy story to tell, the story of the day was 4 nice reds. I think # 3 and 4 were literally 3 minutes apart, some reds were caught on the sandbar and some in the trough all on whiting chunks they had no problem eating it. Was a solid showing, and I am grateful to live in SC, cant complain. The fish were caught today Aug 23, August is turning out to be just fine for red fishing. Grace rounding up some bait in the trough.
