Phinee,
The defending national champs WITHOUT the defending Heisman trophy winner. HUGE difference. Look at how different your team is with a different QB under center.
Why should we put credence in the true freshman QB. YOUR TEAM MADE THAT DECISION. Because they had to. your non true freshman QB is not as good.
Geesh, give credence to a team because their starter is not good.
QB. YOUR TEAM MADE THAT DECISION. Because they had to.

^double standard^
Clemson prepared for 3 quarters of Shameis and 3 quarters of Stoudt. What we got was no Shameis and less than a quarter of Stoudt.
There’s this huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge difference between Shameis and his backup but no difference between our 5th year SR and true freshman- AT TALLAHASSEE?
Come on dude. Did we “have to?”
or did we not have to?
You said we had to. So how is that any different than Shameis on the sidelines?

That huuuuuuuge difference is why the game was close
You mean the guy that completes over 60% and a team that averages over 30 points a game.
Yes. And by implication, that guy nobody knew the name of when I asked y’all for 3 or 4 days who the #2 cooterback on the team was.
I am sure the description on the coot’s website of that guy is near the same as the description for our TRUE FRESHMAN QB or FSU’s backup guy. You know… like-
“2014 McGuire Outlook: Backup quarterback with a strong arm who plays with poise and efficiency. A natural pocket passer who has the athleticism to make plays on the run when needed. Displays great arm strength, touch and accuracy, and is emerging as a veteran leader on the Seminoles. Was impressive all spring and showed he could handle first team reps when Jameis Winston was with the FSU baseball team.”
Yeah. Sounds exactly like Connor Mitch. Pretty sure you have no clue what you’re talking about anymore and only want to see things in as negative of a light as possible for Clemson’s football program.

Well done.
Did anyone actually read this, Phin asked about Dylan. I posted stats of Dylan.
Then Phin proceeds to have this very odd discussion WITH HIMSELF.
And the best part is his conclusion.

I wouldn’t say “you have no clue”, you seem to know the game fairly well, however, it is you that only want’s to see things in as negative of a light as possible for Carolina’s football program.
After all, isn’t Carolina negativity what this post is all about?
Well done.
Now, after losing it’s only 2 hard games, Clemson gets to cupcake through the rest of the season while Carolina has some tough games between… only one game matters to me at this point.
DT isn’t the problem…the defense is awful. You know it; I know it; Dabo’s pet gerbil knows it. Dylan has played well enough to win every game.
Personally I’d love to see the play calling get a little more run heavy and control the ground more than throwing the ball all over the place like we’ve done this year, but I don’t second guess the coach like a lot of people.
