Barn vs Coots

discuss strategy against Auburn

I recommend the following game plan to Spurrier. If any of y’all have his cell number, feel free to forward to him.

  1. open playbook binder
  2. open binder rings
  3. collate all passing plays
  4. place passing plays into pile
  5. throw pile into air like a graduation cap
  6. shut binder rings and close playbook as passing plays fall down from overhead
  7. open playbook and use “new playbook” at will

Probably be less embarrassing if they didn’t show up.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Three back rotation and run the ball about 100 times. It could get really ugly really fast. The only hope is to run the ball effectively and keep their offense off of the field. Ellis Johnson is a great coordinator so that may not be possible.

I don’t think it will be a blow-out. Carolina usually plays very well in the underdog role.

It’ll be a blowout. It’s at Jordan Hare, Sakkerliner hasn’t beaten AU since Hitler was just a politician, Sakkerliner’s defense is getting worse not better and AU has had a week off following a tough loss. The Tammy loss was a close one compared to what this could be.

I’m also going on emotion as that was the determining factor for Carolina’s win against UGA. UGA is a darn good team. It will be tough for Auburn to get “jacked” to play Carolina, so we shall see.

After watching the Furman game…It will not be close. I know the announcers kept talking about Furman’s offense being a tough team to read. And they are. But it was still Furman. They ran for 211 yards. and 60 of that was on 1 run. Auburn will line up and dare you to stop them.
The only ember of hope I have is that UGA lined up and did the same thing. The BIG difference is the QB. Marshall has run for over 100 yards in 4 games.

I say it is not close

I’m calling the upset.

Then you will be wrong 3 weeks in a row

I am afraid that a quote from Cousin Eddie of National Lampoon fame will say it best.

My Gamecocks are going to get smoked.

This will not be pretty.

USC will get abused…

So has Clemson beaten anyone ranked this year?

I believe they would get whupped too if they were traveling to a top 5 team’s home field.

But yall don’t have to worry about that, you’ve had your hard games already and lost them both. :face_with_head_bandage:

LOL

This would be a very rational opinion for anyone whose TV was stuck on the SEC channel all year.

Please, by no means, recognize the fact that Clemson did not get “whupped” when they took the #1 (is there a higher rank than #1?) team in the country into overtime at said #1 team’s stadium.

Clemson would hang with Auburn in my belief. They did so at Auburn in sCam’s championship year. Auburn would beat us in the 4th quarter IMO though, much like that year.

So your answer is…

No, they have not.

I’m not interested in your excuses or what happened 4 or 5 weeks/years ago.

Clemson travels to Auburn this weekend after barely beating power house BC, :face_with_head_bandage:

It is what it is.

  1. FSU didn’t have their best player

  2. Auburn would smoke Clemson, just like they will smoke SC on Saturday.

As much as you’d love to believe it, SC and Clemson are not that different in 2014…unlike the last 5 years where SC has been much better than Clemson.

You people are amazing.

You claim FSU was at a disadvantage for not having it’s head CRIMInole on the field, yet you give no credence to the fact that we had a TRUE FRESHMAN QB playing in that game.

Our defense held that team, the defending national champions and #1 ranked in the country, to 13 yards rushing for the entire game. We took them to overtime and truly “whupped” their butts for 4 quarters. We had a young kicker with snakes in his head, among other “easy” things that were given away in that game. Anyone saying that Clemson got whupped* didn’t watch the game and doesn’t understand the game of football; plain and simple.

You are here saying that Clemson could not go into a top 5 team’s house and not get “whupped” though?

You coots are delusional at best and crazy at worst.

Clemson’s defense is the best it has been in years. The 2 deep rotation has played lights out the last few games considering the positions our offense has continuously put them in. Yes our offense has taken a step backwards, but is it as far back as the coots’ offense?

Your team has stepped backwards on all sides of the ball. Ours has stepped forward pretty far on defense.

Now you can go back to arguing about how FSU is overrated and hasn’t played anybody, and so on and so forth.
Your conference allowing two MISSISSIPPI TEAMS to dominate it, a.k.a. whup* up on it, is pathetic. No wonder you believe that all of college football is dirty* now, 23sailfish. There is no other way for you to explain what’s happening in the SEC- or is there?

Tell us again about how good KY and TENN are. You’d sound less silly then compared to telling us how FSU sucks right now…

Racist.

Exactly right about having our backup QB in the game as well.

We would not beat Auburn but with a healthy team it would be a good game.

Our run defense is one of the best in the country. Can’t fault them for getting tired against UGA when the defense was on the field for 26 of the 30 minutes in the 2nd half.

Last but not least…why is Clemson being brought up in this thread? You know there is another thread about Clemson vs Cuse…right?
