Clemson happens to have the best defense in the country. Danny ford would be proud.
Hurry up the bandwagon is filling up fast, I sent out a few congrats on yesterdays big win and most of the replies started with " I didnât even know they were playing."

have not missed watching a Clemson bball game in many yearsâŚand most of those have been painful to watch.
If the bandwagon is filling up, surely Fritz will be outfitting in new colors in no time
Theyâll scchhiitt the bed soon enough. Bet they donât even sniff the win in Chapel Hill.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldnât go so far as to call a dog filthy but theyâre definitely dirty. But, a dogâs got personality. Personality goes a long way.

how much would you like to bet and what would you clarify as âsniff the winâ?
Seems like you donât know this yearâs bball team very wellâŚor UNC this year for that matter.

?I think they?re established in what (head coach Brad Brownell) wants to do,? Krzyzewski said. ?He?s an outstanding coach; everywhere he?s gone, after he?s been there for a few years, he?s had his system take root, he?s always been really good.?
Krzyzewski had a nod as well for Clemson?s leading scorer, rebounder and blocker in junior forward K.J. McDaniels.
?They?re very athletic. They?re smart,? Krzyzewski said. ?And they have two of the best shot-blockers in the conference (McDaniels and Landry Nnoko), and I think one of the best players in the conference in McDaniels. He?s a big-time pro prospect.?
Brownell is now 231-134 for his career, and 64-49 at Clemson. The Tigers lead the nation in scoring defense (53.5 points allowed per game) and 3-point shooting defense. Clemson was 29-33 the previous two seasons.
?I think it starts from the tough-mindedness of Brad and his staff, and developing a system over these few years he?s been there,? Krzyzewski said. ?It?s finally established, and I think he has good kids, they believe in him, they work hard, they don?t make many mistakes, and they?re tough to score against. That?s pretty much been what he has done in his previous stops as a coach.

Shelvin, Clemson is 0-forever in Chapel Hill. UNC could be winless going in and their first W would be against Clemson in the Dean Dome. You know it, I know it and ever Clemson and UNC fan in the world knows it.
We also both know Clemson always has a âgoodâ team to start the year, then the slump, flop, bed crapping and losing starts and continues. Maybe this year is different but Iâm pretty sure that weâll see the same old Clemson Basketball team sooner or later.
Maybe if I continue to refrain from watching it, theyâll keep winning. I plan on it anyway, the not watching part. Been a Clemson fan my entire life but Clemson isnât a basketball school, never will be. I am looking forward to baseball though.

UNC is rarely as bad as they are this yearâŚand if its going to happen this is one of the better chances we have.
No, Clemson does not always have a âgoodâ team to start that falls apart. That was a 3 year stretch under Oliver Purnell who purposely scheduled terrible teams early
Welcome to Pittsburg Danny, bring yo defense?..
LOL
But I can tell you didnât watch the game. Our defense was actually good and fundamentally sound.
They had like 26 points off our fast break turnovers and could not miss even highly contested shots.
After one fade away 3 pointer with the shot clock expiring the announcer said âits just one of those nights⌠they (Pitt) canât missâ.

OK,OK I finally figured out.Your real name is Roy Philpot.
Right?
salty is a nemesis for us Carolina fans from way back on this siteâŚ
maybe just a nemesis for meâŚ
but, my word, I honestly didnât expect this post about the university of clemson BB teamâŚ
he is a knowledgeable fellow about his team and I must defer to him, but I thought they were doing pretty well and had a team that was capable of doing some good thingsâŚ
Iâve got a feeling that they just ran into a perfect storm that game, it happensâŚ
Thanks im4 but we are not a good team yet. Bubble team but tending up as we have no seniors and 3 juniors. Point was it starts with defense and we have that. Pitt was the perfect storm though⌠Our young team got slapped early and freaked out on the road and gave up so my turnover easy baskets. 14pts worth in the first 10 min. Add in the fact they shot 50% from 3 range and could not miss and itâs ugly.
We so have a shot at unc though they are bad this year. Not a good shot but better than prior years.
K.J. McDaniels got some huge props on an ESPN article the other day ranking the best players in college basketball. Ranked him as the 13th best player in college hoops, as well as the most underrated. It concluded by saying that Clemson is lucky he isnât showing up on anyoneâs draft radar (at least not yet), so heâll probably be around another year.
