BC coaching

My son is helping me coach my daughters soccer team. It is his first attempt at coaching, so I look for things to help him.
So we are watching the CU vs BC game. I think I have this right. BC is down by 3. It is 3rd down and 23 (or something like that)somewhere near the BC 20 yard line. The coach calls a run up the middle.
I tell my son. Watch, this is the end of BC. why? Because the coach just gave up on the team. He has essentially told his team, I don’t trust you to give it a shot.
I dont think BC got another 1st down. But the team played totally different after that. I believe the coaching caused this change. It happens all the time in games where a team is playing above their head.

With that said, I told my dad earlier that BC would stay close until half. I picked CU by 24.5. Clemson is a far better team than BC.

Why am I telling CF.com this. I don’t know[:slight_smile:

I didn’t care much for BC’s coach. Watching his antics tonight was disturbing, to say the least. NOT a class act!..

I agree, I was hoping somebody was going to lay him out. He spent half the game on the field screaming at the refs.

With some of the blatant bad calls happening around him how could he not be pissed off. Acc had to protect their darling for next weeks Super Bowl .

This was the first time in Dabo’s career that a coach refused to shake his hand before the game. Maybe he is a bit too proud.

in every game there is something to argue about. I think he had his reason(at times) but man I thought that guy was going to stroke out…
