Duke lost to GT & Pitt they barely beat Wake & UNC.
Clemson lost to #1 FSU and #10 USC and crushed every other ACC team we played, including GT who they lost to.
Its clear that FSU & Clemson are in a different class than the rest of the ACC. And Yes I know the rest of the ACC sucks.
Thinking that Clemson is ahead of Duke just because of preseason rankings is also out of touch with reality.

Again, it is not about “deserving”, it should be, but it isn’t and never has been, except for the NC game. As far as Duke, if they hand with FSU, then I would say let them go instead, if they get killed, then you used the rest of the schedule.
If Duke scores 10 points against FSU on a neutral field that makes them better then Clemson.

I don’t know. I actually think Duke could beat Clemson. Wouldn’t bother me if they went to a BCS game instead of Clemson, just don’t think the powers that be will pick them for obvious reasons.

Clemson got off to a slow start so maybe that’s all you choose to remember.
Clemson was up 40 to 20 with 3 minutes left, on the road. Our 2nd team gave up BS TD at the end. Yeah, Clemson crushed them.

Some could say that FSU is overrated. Going undefeated in the acc isn’t an accomplishment.

I think FSU is a quality team but, I would like to see how they fare playing higher caliber teams week after week.

I see the SEC fanboys are out in full force this morning.
I am praying that the SEC gets into the BCS CG. It would be a whole lot easier to say that you can’t get out of the SEC undefeated, and that the SEC only beats themselves. But to lose to FSU after lobbying for a 1 loss SEC team would be fantastic to me.

Come on Geronimo. Not being a “fan boy” here. Just posing a question. In fact, I did not even mention the SEC, I just said “higher caliber teams”. Did that make you think of the SEC? Do you think that FSU would dominate teams in the SEC/Big 12/Pac 12 they way they dominate everyone in the ACC? Forget the SEC, you can’t deny that the ACC is extremely weak this year. Not attacking the ACC, as a football fan I would just like to see how the Noles would play against better teams each week. They may dominate them as well, who knows?
