Assume you didn’t watch the end but fsu let up on them and could have scored a few more times. Of course auburn can score against them. But they won’t keep up with FSU. Their defense is better than any SEC team auburn has faced.
I think this will be a good game. Shevlin not sure if you are just stirring that pot, but to say FSU’s defense if better than any Auburn faced is reaching. Best defense in the ACC hands down and they have a great defense, but not decisively better than Bama or LSU. I think FSU will score a ton, but there is some talent on the Auburn defense and Ellis Johnson is a very good defensive coordinator. You never now with that much time to prepare what may happen. I really dislike both teams equally and think that with a month to get ready for that Auburn offense that FSU has a pretty good shot at winning this match up because of the talent they have on defense and their ability to run the ball, but it is really anyone’s guess. Winston is fun to watch.

The talking heads were just saying that 8 out of 11 players on FSU’s D are projected to be drafted.
The new D coordinator, Pruitt, is from Bama and learned form the best obviously (Smart). His play calling has been lights out so far.

Where Carolina ended up and where Clemson ended up is purely due to conference bowl tie-ins. The ACC has no one worth putting in a decent bowl after FSU and the tiggers. The only unfortunate aspect of playing in the SEC is that they have too many good teams. Last count in the top 20, SEC - 6, ACC - 2. Do the math, not everyone will get a BCS bowl. And, with all the money the SEC will rake in and they way they share, I am not even sure they will take a financial hit. Would I prefer the Gamecocks be in a BCS bowl? Sure, but it is what it is.

Tommy, I know you man. You are definitely one of the reasonable folks that posts here. I was just staing a fact regarding the bowl game selections. Geronimo is correct, Carolina has no one but themselves to blame. Beat tennessee and things would more than likely be different. Not sure if that would have meant a shot at the NC game but, could have meant something. Carolina has got to get to that next level where it never loses games like that one. Coulda, shoulda, woulda, still have a lot to be happy about. I have lived through the winless seasons and see a bright future so everything is good.
