LSU is average. Ranked higher. Same number of wins. But just average
By LSU and normal conference standing, they were average and never really a contender for their conference or division. As a whole they were a (() good football team prior to Metzenburgers injury. Just like Jawjer was a (() good team prior to their injury slide.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Don’t even wana think about the fallout from that Fritz, you might as well have suggested doing away with welfare. The whole country would go up in flames.
This is why Clemson is a BCS game. Tie-in and 2 teams rule
No it isn’t, the OB was not obligated to take Clemson or any other ACC team for that matter. They chose to take Clemson because they were available and the fan base travels (spends) very well.

Man you are a rocket scientist. Hence why it wasn’t bolded, FishB8 said it was the tie in and the 2 team maximum. It was only the 2 team maximum but even the 2 maximum really didn’t have that much to do with it, money and filling seats did. The OB became an at large choice with FSU being in the title game.

Also the OB had first selection and could have taken Bama, but took OSU instead. Probably had something to do with the million plus Northerner transplants living in Florida instead of the mighty SEC.
