BCS or SEC

I was talking to a friend and fellow USC fan yesterday. He asked would I rather go to SEC champ game and face Bama or a BCS game? Insinuating that USC would not beat Bama(which I agree).
And I’m not sure how to answer it. I’m not saying either would happen but the question is a good one.

Thoughts?

On another note: The big question used to be would I rather beat Clemson or goto the SEC champ game. I’m just glad USC has any option at a BCS game.

What BCS game do they have an option at if they don’t reach the SECCG? Seems if Auburn only loses to Bama, they would get the nod over anyone else in the SEC. How do you even see them getting to the SECCG with GA and Mizzou holding the cards at this point?

I’d worry about the Capitol One, Gator or Peach and hope I didn’t get bumped to the Cheese Pizza Bowl.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

You could lose to Clemson and still go to the SEC Champ game. Matter of fact, you will probably know if you are before kickoff.

1st. I didn’t say it would happen but it could. AU could go win-less. most likely not.
2nd. Mizzou has 2 tough games ahead of them, ole miss and tamu. UGA still has AU. not that hard right now. of course they have to win saturday.

Now. asked which one would you pick? how many CU fans can stick to the question?

I can… A BCS game would be more worth your while, as long as you win .

The current bama team would roll USC IMO

" It is what it is".

And RWL, USC could lose to coastal carolina and goto the SEC game.

I misread your “on another note”. I thought you were asking the big question about Clemson or the SEC. My Bad!

This year, I would definitely say BCS game. You have a much more likely chance to win that instead of the SEC Champ game if it is Bama, IMO. If Bama somehow slips up and its Auburn, that may change my mind.

The question wasn’t about CU fans. See, this is how good threads get killed. Stay on topic.

AU is going to stomp a mudhole in UGA. They will give Bama a better game than anyone else has this season as well.

Ole Miss isn’t playing that well right now, Mizzou still is, they roll OM. TAMU has a dynamic offense and a crap defense, Mizzou has a dynamic offense and a decent defense, very likely Mizzou wins that one.

uSC ain’t going to a BCS game or a SECCG, period.

Your right, the replies before I posted were CU fans and they did not answer the question.
My bad. back on topic.

Salty, I think TAMU beats Missou.
And you have a typo. “SEC ain’t going to a BCS game or a SECCG, period.”

And I think Bama would beat USC, so I think a BCS game would be better.

Think Alabama would beat USC? Thanks I needed that laugh.

No Fish, I had my Bama hat on when I replied!

You like those “non-division” games to count now don’t you?

This thread validates what has been said by so many.

My point is that I think TAMU would win meaning it more likely for USC to be in the SECCG. And a lose in Atlanta would suck…again. So a BCS game would be better, win or lose(as long as it is close).

So, do you still believe the team that wins the division should go to the SEC championship game or the team that wins with “non-division” games included should go to the SEC championship game?

The team that wins the division.

So that would be Missouri NOT SC if Missouri loses a game! So you are saying SC should not go to the SEC championship game if Missouri loses a game?
