Hi everyone. Looking for some help on finding some spots to target some speckled trout and possibly reds. I have very little time to fish working here on PI and was wondering if someone could help me out. Currently on a 08 sea fox 256wa. Thanks.
Southern entrance to Archer’s creek, if the range isn’t hot.

I will reply to your PM, but a 256 is a mighty large boat for redfish and trout where I fish. I’d spend half my time stuck in the mud [:I]
I don’t have many suggestions for a boat that size. The Parris Island reef can be good in colder months for a variety of bottom fish. The Broad River bridge can be good for large reds and black drum. The nearshore reefs for black sea bass will be good in the fall. The rips on the bars in the sound can be real good for over slot reds. But there aren’t many of my inshore trout or redfish spots that I could get a 24’ boat into or out of. If I sent you there you would be stuck for hours and probably damage the boat.

I can get pretty close to shore enough to cast to the grass. I was going to head up past the port royal marina up by all that grass by bay street where boats are docked out in the water.
just be ready to cast a country mile. your big boat will spook the reds

If you fish incoming tide with live bait I think you will do fine with your size boat. Just try hitting some shell rakes and small crrek mouths anywhere around Parris Island. If you do not get hits in 15 minutes, move to another spot. Anchor as quietly as you can as far as you can cast to shell rake. if they are there and hungry, you will know soon enough. Good luck

If you are near port royal marina, try the rocks by dock side.
