I’ve been up at Camp Lejeune TAD for the last two months. I took the boat a did a good bit of fishing. I probably caught a couple hundred reds up there all about 13- 17". The slot up there is 18-27". We did manage a few good ones and a bunch of really nice flounder. It was good to fish some areas I haven’t been in about 3 years.
I got back down on Friday and had to give it a go Saturday. It started slow but we managed a 20" flounder a 18" trout three slot reds one 25" reds and and a couple under slot reds and trout. We were fishing by 730 but didn’t catch our firs fish until 930. We fished until 1. The majority of fish were caught between 1100 and 1130. We caught three on live mullet the rest were all on a DOA glow shrimp on a jiig head.
Had a good time it was cool and windy but better than sitting at home.
