Haven’t posted in a while. Too busy fishing & working! My boat had some issues…but is ok except for an aux fuel pump that needs replacing.
This has been one fall for the books as far as the trout bite goes. Natural, artificial or fly, they have been voracious on anything thrown at them.
Had my good friend Pete (Jighead) down from Tennessee…we caught loads of trout and a good number of bass, plus the huge pinfish you see below. Also had Billy DuRant down from Columbia. He got a nice 30+ redfish (below) on a Gulp! jerk bait after I told him exactly where to cast! 
Billy and I wore the trout out on two separate days. Blair (g8rnsc) and I smacked the trout around on 11/3 and my son Brandon was down 11/4 and we went right back at it on trout & bass. I was on the water Tuesday and caught lots of slot bass and a few trout, but was really just checking out the boat. Caught the bass on Gulp! 3" shrimp. I found some real “pigs” but they were skittish. I know they’ll be right there for the winter, so I plan to harass them regularly!
