Anyone familiar with fishing in this area? I am interested in kayak fishing and there appears to be a lot of creeks and rivers over there. How bad are the currents and tides for this area for a kayak? What kind of inshore fish can I expect to catch from a kayak in this area? And…do you know of a fishing guide for that area? Thanks in advance for any info.

Should not be bad fishing out of a kayak, but watch the boat wakes from the shrimp boats and traffic on the ICW. You should be able to catch lots of bass ( red fish, spottails) and flounder with live mudders and a few casting DOA or Gulp this time of year and it only gets better as the water warms up!
