This is an odd move to me. But if he redshirts then he will be ready to play in 2017. with a year of strength training under his belt

You never know fish Watson enrolled early and was the starter by game 3 and this looks pretty good.

Watson enrolled after his senior season. And was on campus in February this is a little bit different. Frantic to say the least.

Bentley is ranked as a four-star prospect for the 2017 class by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN, and he is rated as the No. 2 quarterback in the country by ESPN.
Huge difference in what watson did. which Mcelwain(sp) did this year at USC. This kid is skipping his entire senior year to enroll. It is hard for me to think he would be ready this year. He needs time to bulk up. so hopefully he will redshirt.
But this may make a difference.
Bentley is not a typical junior in high school as he is already 18 years old and turns 19 in November. He believes that will help make the unusual transition easier.
