Best boat loan rates

Who’s got the best rates right now?
SC Federal around 5.24%
SC State Bank 4.25%

Anyone know of better options?

2014 Key West 203DFS

Check the credit unions as well.

I just got a loan from SC Federal Credit Union for 3.49% even though they had 4.49% advertised for new boat loans.

navy federal credit and south state are both usually good

Cash is an option, but it you believe the bull market still have room to run (which I do), then I’d rather rent money at 4+% if I can make 15+% in the market with that money.

I just believe boats, other toys and extravagances should be paid for with cash.

Everything I have is paid for but I always have something financed just to keep my history of credit going.

hey pk. maybe everybody is not as fortunate as you and cannot put out 25-50k cash. just sayin. however ; your opinion is noted just not the opinion of the most of us i would suspect.

Has anyone taken a loan from a credit union recently? Best I’m seeing from National lenders is around 6%. Looking at 20k w/ excellent credit.

HELOC and deduct the interest?

“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”, but really, who cares?

I’ve never felt comfortable with Heloc. Just doesn’t sit right with me. I’d rather keep toys and my dwelling separate

If eligible, you may be able to get a rate around 5% with USAA depending on loan amount and term. I’ve used them for two boats and always beat most other lenders I could find.

Our political views may be different, but I’m in total agreeance with this one. Never once financed a boat or any play toy. I hear all the time “it’s the American way to be in debt” and many other things close to this. It’s not my American way.

HERE HERE Fred! I’m with you here!
