Best Boat Ramps

Need some advice please. If you were gonna launch a 26’ plus boat and wanted to go north, what ramp would you use?

Putting in at Pt Royal (Sands) is a much longer ride on the water, as y’all know.

Thanks in advance!

Don’t think you have much choice, Lucy creek is about the only solution. If you know the water, you can use St Helena ramps, but leaving at dark can be sketchy.

Glenn-I’ve seen a small shrimp trawler going in/out of Lucy (tri-axle trailer)…just sayin’

…and it’s not like you’ve never been there before either

Good luck!!!

Thanks guys, what about Russ Point??

Keep in mind, I’m talking about fishing offshore…

Russ Point without a doubt. Second choice would be Station Creek.

Yep…just be careful in Fripp Inlet if going out of Russ Point. But I’ve been out of Station Creek many times.

One often over looked is Eddings Point…now that they’ve put in a dock and improved the ramp. Turn the corner into Morgan River and be out to N2 buoy in a short hop.
