What would you expect them to say? They’re the “new kids on the block”. They’d be foolish to pick a fight or say anything inflammatory about HPT or CA. Well said, but common sense.
That being said, I’m 100% in favor of capitalism, so I don’t care where anyone shops. To each his own. I just prefer to shop with people I know and trust where they know and appreciate me.

Good to know you knew PSA’s true intent. Didnt realize you knew them well enough to know they were simply saying “the right thing” and not actually being respectful.
For the record, there’s a difference between common sense and common courtesy.

Sorry, Mr. Stick. You’re 100% correct, Mr. Stick. I will never challenge you again, Mr. Stick. Even though I wasn’t challenging you in the first place, Mr. Stick.

Thought you said you never took pot shots at people because you didn’t have to since your comments are always based on facts. I guess facts eluded you in your last response so you resorted to this.
Way to stay classy.

How did I take a “pot shot” at you, Mr. Stick? By showing respect? What time does PSA open, sheesh…[:0]

Let it go gents. BangStick is partial to PSA and that’s fine! Many are partial to me,and many probably do not like my honesty sometimes! Best part of being a consumer is you get to choose where you shop. 'Merica boys! Just so thankful after 17years in this industry to have such an incredible customer base that are honestly as much my friends as they are my customers.
I do not know BangStick personally, but if he is like so many on CFC, probably another good ole lowcountry individual that is just very loyal to his people he prefers to shop with. That being said, people should also respect others opinions on consumerism and not just take a jab at their preferences bc they may differ. Goes for all of us.
Black Bart is as good of an individual with true integrity as they come in this world, that much I do know and presume so many others are the same way until proven differently.
A couple calm days on the ocean cures all! And besides, this thread was started by a gentleman I believe I helped out last week already lol
Actually, I spent my first dollars on fishing product in the Charleston area at HPT in Mt Pleasant many moons ago and MANY MANY moons before PSA even existed. Every trip from the midlands area to the saltwater surrounding Charleston always detoured through HPT (and I always left with a lighter wallet). After PSA open in Columbia, I became a loyal customer and member at their shooting range. When I found out they opened a new store in Mt Pleasant AND they carried fishing product, I eagerly checked them out. I fell in love with the fact I could shop in one spot and cover all of my hunting/shooting/fishing needs. As I already stated, I still give my money a chance to visit HPT cash registers. I’ll cover great distances to not have to shop on line so I’ll shop where ever I have to find what I need. I appreciate the my shopping experiences at PSA and HPT but in the end, it’s simply a matter of finding what I need.
Hey BlackBart, according to their Facebook page, PSA in Mt Pleasant is open 8am-8pm Monday through Friday, 7am-8pm Saturday, and 10am-6pm on Sunday. You’re welcome.

Haddrells is the place to go. No better service, help and info anywhere. Scott, Simon, Derrell and Mr Oliver are the ones to see.

Scott, how old are you now? 27? Did you start working when you were 8?
Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.

I still have that tackle…
When I go fishing, I go to Haddrell’s Point…
Haddrell’s point tackle for sure. Most of these guys have forgot more about fishing than you can ever learn. And all have a very positive attitude. They always make you welcome. Hooked for life on Haddrell’s
Definitely Haddrells and Charleston angler isn’t that bad either
