Paul’s veggie sub gave me an idea. I don’t eat fast foods of any kind, I must be the only person in America, but I like to know where my food comes from and who puts their hands on it. Odd, I know
So I figured we’d start with a basic BLT sandwich and substitute salmon for bacon. Home grown lettuce and tomatoes, then added a layer of Mrs. Cracker’s home made sweet pickles and onions, also home grown. Fantastic sandwich!!
Will try the avocado too, Matt. That sounds good.

I use it in Sushi and I made some smoked salmon dip that was killer… I just didn’t write down how I made it… Will have to try it again and document the process if it comes out the same.

You can make smoked salmon dip with this, which is one I’ve used for a few years.
1 container cream cheese 8 oz.
1 container sour cream 8 oz.
8 oz. smoked salmon, diced.
1 tsp diced onion, or even better, chives or green onion.
1 clove diced garlic.
1 tsp dijon mustard, optional, if you like a slight acid taste.
Use an electric mixer to mix the cream cheese and sour cream. Toss in all the rest, mix it up, and gnaw the arm off anyone that tries to take it from you.
