need some waterproofing done to the camp tent and a couple of older foul weather jackets…what say ye?
I’ve read good stuff about the Gear Aid products https://www.mcnett.com/gearaid/durable-waterproofing#36218
best just to spray on and forget it or does the whole wash-it-then-spray-it-then-dry-it-on-low-heat work?
NeverWet sucks. I used it on the gun case that strapped behind the ROPs on my Gator. It didn’t work from day 1. Followed application instructions to a T, worthless. The Thompson’s is no better.

For the camp tent, get some seam sealer and paint the dickens out of the seams. The seams are where you are most likely to get a leak. About 20 years or so back, when my buddies were buying high-dollar tents, I bought a $60 Coleman tent and a $3 bottle of seam sealer. I painted it on thick and never got a drop of water in my tent; and I’ve been in several “2p cow p’ing on a flat rock” downpours.

Basically, the same product. Have a can in the garage I wish I could give you… Purt much new other than it’s ten years old. Ole can still rattles when I shake it…
