Is that Jeremy Inlet?
Nice! I have yet to catch one anything close to that size.
Moral judgment under girds the entire structure of laws and is necessary for the rational structure of any significant statute. The idea that our laws can stand independent of moral foundation is senseless.----- Albert Mohler.
I was surprised the big mullet were here… yes Jeremy. Also not happy there were no redfish, maybe next time.
Wow! What a stud bluefish, I bet that was fun! Where’s Jeremy inlet?
Dern nice fush! Edisto, here I come…
Bluefish that size are great for the smoker.

I’ve caught some that I thought were big for around here at the Edisto Nearshore, but never seen one as big as that, bet he gave you a tussle, nice blue!
You can’t catch fish on a dry line
I fish that exact spot a good bit so far this year. The only catches have been the whiting, witch are awesome for the fryer. But i am like you, ready for the reds to show up.
Bluefish that size can be very strong flavored. Grill them in tin foil with some bbq sauce and onions to cut the flavor a bit.

Filet them real thin. Skin him. Cut the blood line out and fry really crispy. Don’t freeze! Eat within 1 to 2 days and deep fried ya can’t beat it. We use to catch big ol chopper blues in North Carolina that went 10 pounds plus. I got a few pics of some nice ones!

We used to catch alot of big ones like that in the Chesapeake while we were striper fishing. They are great smoked. That’s the only way I like them.
Hey try eating the cheeks on those big blues if you have’nt already, it’s a nice chunk of meat and you won’t believe the difference in taste from the rest of it.
