Maybe they can differentiate a worm in the water from a baby northern banded water snake, how would I know?

Not sure about politics but to continue with dragonfly s . No they do not hover above the water and grab prey. The larvae stage will eat minnows tadpoles, eggs, worms etc not the flying stage as they eat flying insects. My son and I caught the “water dragons” and raised them until the winged stage and then let them go. Up close they look like the predator movie aliens. Had them in an aquarium for about a year until they crawled up on the rock in there and dried their wings off and then released. They have more or less retractable jaws at that stage like the alien creature and I watched them “spear” minnows , tadpoles etc. If they were a little bit bigger I would n`t touch one
That`s one of the nicknames, they supposedly led snakes to their prey and helped them heal. I think it only worked on hoop snakes though, the one that would put its tail in its mouth and roll down hill to catch children… People thought they were evil for some reason, we called them the devils needle as a kid sometimes.

Just so you understand the adults that fly around do not eat tadpoles or minnows, only the nymphs do that . I still call dookie on a dragonfly killing a snake or eating ones egg. But I know it’s a silly thing to argue with you.

I was in the smoke pit and this dragonfly landed on my arm and proceeded to eat a live honeybee. There was a faint, high-pitched buzzing or squealing noise. I swear the bee was screaming.

I’d like to discuss his dislike of Politics and saying that it’s nothing but fake articles and then why he posts an article that was debunked, but can’t stand it? When it gets talked about he reverts back to a little child and calls me RBF, instead of just simply stating his link was B.S. EF says give him the “keys” and he will make this place better. All I’m seeing is more of the same with his constant Bob like repeat of phrases. Bottom line EF does not like to be wrong and never has and will twist and divert when called out. No big deal and I’m not in the least offended. At least his mean jabs are not focused at my family or others. I think the hypocrisy is obvious and slightly humorous.
