not many. The bigger ones seem to have moved off to deeper water or have been fished out. We released three that day, one of which was a 36" the others were those 28" hatchery fish.

He’s talking cobia(browies). Yes, they are their. Wednesday numerous fish up to 65#, yes 65#!!! Fishing solo, all you could want! Plus kings up to 40#, yes 40#!!! Good Day!!! I think I lost the mother to that grouper in the wreck, BIIIIIGGGG one. Maybe next time. Hopefully it will blow this weekend so the warriors don’t fish em’ out.

Skinee, Since your here, got a question. You ever dive the Ross? Someone in the know told their are some monster grouper down there. I personally don’t have the balls to jump in, not ashamed to say it. Where do buy pants big enough to fit those nuts?

Again…do you fish out of a sea chaser??
I know of a few folks that do dive there, and kill nice grouper. It’s hard to get them off that wreck with hook and line! I’m not shy to say that I’m too much of a puss to dive there either. Have seen too many large tigers (aka man eaters) and hammers come up.

I have dove the ross about 25 times or so…I have seen more grouper else where then the ship…
Edit: Never saw any tigers underwater either, sometimes we see them on the surface though…

hats off to the divers, you all are the real deal. Some day I may join the divering crowd but haven’t worked up the guts yet.
36" I was referring to was a cobia, don’t wont anyone to be mislead there.

D.S., Why won’t you answer whether or not you’re fishing out of a sea chaser?? Just curious if you’re the guy with a real bad habit of dropping anchor right on top of other boats?? Never seen anything like it. If you’re who I think you are your baloon bait was right on top of someone’s anchor line on tuesday, not to mention the time you dropped your anchor right on top of mine. Remember?? My anchor had hardly hit the bottom when you pulled up right on top of me saying “Hey, looks like we’ve got the same numbers” and tossed your anchor out on top of mine. If I’ve got you confused with somebody else let me know and you’ve got my apology.
