I’m new to the site. I try to get to Edisto at least 2 weeks a year. I just read that Live Oak is closed. I’m coming down Easter week. Does anyone know if Steamboat landing is open??
yup, Steamboat Landing is open
Steamboat has two ramps and decent parking. Shouldn’t be a problem. The big bridge over the ICW has a ramp, too, in case you were not aware. No charge at either of those ramps, unlike Live Oak.
Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…

That marina ramp is hard to negotiate, though. You have to make two turns…going backwards.
Not my idea of fun.

I pull my 20 foot boat with my extended cab truck onto the marina ramp entrance, make a U-turn, and back onto the ramp in one fell swoop. Then I quiz Steve, who manages the marina, and Capt Huff about the fishing! Bob Sanders
The Marina ramp is closed during the Governor’s Cup.
