Somewhere I once found a calendar of dates it was closed for hunts, but I just did a search of dnr.sc.gov and came up empty handed. I probably did not look hard enough. I’d look there and try to find a phone number. Good luck. If you find it please post the link… Thanks. Oh BTW if its not closed for a hunt you can still launch your Yak there any time of year as far as I know. Its closed every Tuesday

Just got back from Edisto and we yakked BB/Ocella Ck Saturday. Great trip. Yakked out to N.Edisto and then to beach. Saw where BB would be closed off and on the next several weeks. Shame, great yakking weather

Yes, I can’t believe they would close the place so hunters can access it during the hunting season. Looks like you yakkers are out of luck. Might have to try Myrtle Beach next year for vacation.

Seriously, there are plenty of places to throw in, I have only put in there once and wanted to get on that creek again, no big deal.
