Just had to say 1 more thing since I couldn’t post earlier…1. I’m originally from Pensacola, then moved to Crestview and fished out of Destin…end of 1999 moved to SC. And since you guys don’t like the pictures I post I decided I would give you one more that I think you guys appreciate much more and must appreciate since it’s a NICE CATCH (I believe) for a 5 yr old. This was me in 1992 about 22 miles out of Pensacola, FL. Again, like glass on the water!..Sells, you catch monsters and I don’t remember catching em that big but this was about the average size of the red snapper I remember pulling up along with the usuals other than AJ’s…AJs are great to eat in the gulf, or they were back then, and it was a prize to catch one…
I believe at that age most pairs were pump nike’s. All the jeans and pants had holes…shirt sometimes, no shirt others, and I was RIPPED!!!..I feel very fortunate that I have been able to fish for many yrs and am still very young!..My mom didn’t appreciate it at the time that dad was taking the 4 yr old in 100’ of water with sharks
Who cares about the shoes, its all about the fish and even better yet, young bloods who lean to fish and continue to do so till there last day. Just pass it on and live strong.
In 1992, the kewl kid Nikes were promoted by Jordan, Deion, or Penny. None of these, among the other Nikes, had pumps.

Andre never wore Rebok - always Nike. Michael Chang was the only big name tennis player to rock the pumps. I can’t believe I’m participating in this thread - think I’ll stop now.
