Sells and Strickland and Shadowgrass and crew destroyed the fish today.

We will know details later tonight, but I just got the call from Sells a few minutes ago that they were safe as they were coming through the rocks.

25+ grouper including a 15lb Kitty. Lots of short grouper thrown back.
20+ dolphin
lots of good triggers
limit of bucket liners
and a partridge in a pear tree.

Shadowgrass caught a few dolphin on the fly today too. Congrats to him.

You left me out fool. Get on your game 23. If it weren’t for me those numbers would be cut in half. And if it weren’t for me, Shadow would have never caught a dolphin on the fly… well maybe I helped a little.

Looks like a typical Phin slaying!! Nothing special. My money is on Phin and crew. I heard through the grapevine that Strech is going to call the shots on that boat. It will be interesting.

That guy is 6’ 12 1/2" and wears a size 17 shoe. Not even hogie dolphin, those are made for 3’ party submarino sammiches. :smiley:

It is a sad day when you have to throw back a nice size Kitty Mitchel (see pic. above),and watch it float away, after a valiant effort at revival, because we are only allowed to keep one per boat. Ron caught 2 on this trip. Gotcha broke off a BIG grouper early in the day, but ended up with a strong finish with 5 grouper! Good job Lee. Congrats to Shadowgrass on his first and second Dolphin on fly. Duck, lets do this again soon. FYI…there is a lumber yard out there between the 41 bouy and SW bank. Thanks again to Ronnie.

grouper were taken on live / dead whole Menhaden and Red mouth Grunts. triggers, B-liners were on squid, cut bait. Fishing on Carolina rigs, 8 oz lead, 8/0 Owner circle hooks, 100 lb fluro 6’ leader.
