Is it worth fishing?
i’m not a fan of that area. lots of current so it’s hard to hold bottom. give it a try…
I fished the breach area like 2 weeks ago, and i fished edisto beach this past weekend. The surf still hasnt come out of winter patterns yet imo. It could change any day but it felt like it needs a good 2 weeks or so. If the weather is nice then you still get a nice day at the beach. I would expect slow fishing. I never got a hit at either place. But at breach i watched a bald eagle chase and attack a ospery until the ospery had enough and dropped its fish and the eagle took it. It was about a 5 minute aerial battle, the top gun of the animal world.
Have not fished it but it is a good spot come fall to round up fresh bait in the cast net. You can see them busting on the water. Good luck Mr. Hill.
Where would you guys suggest? I’m open to any and all suggestions. I’m just trying to get in a good spot.
Look at IOP and Sullivan’s. Walk down the beach a little ways from the inlet and look for sandbars and troughs. What beach to fish isn’t the biggest factor, its structure. All of the beaches are good.
