well my buddy and i took a friend gigging this morning. left ramp at 2:30 and came in at 6:30. kind of a small window but we wanted to get him out there. come back to the ramp and my buddy’s passenger truck window is busted out and my sunroof is cut on a convertible i drive (made the rookie mistake of locking a convertible). both our glove boxes and my trunk were open and rummaged through. only thing we know they took is my friends radio. sucks…can’t even go gig without worrying about sh*t like this. anyways, just wanted to let everyone know. be careful and don’t keep anything important in the car when leaving from those ramps…

I’ve always considered that a safe ramp and well patrolled. I’ve never had any problems there myself. Bolen Hall landing on Euhaw Creek is another story, lost my hubcaps and a trailer tag there. Not sure who in SC would steal a GA tag.

yeah ive been stressing about it all day due to the fact a ragtop will be expensive to replace. its my fathers kind. a bit of an old ride but his nonetheless. strangely the insurance card/registration are missing from the glove box…what could the want those for??

yeah we might as well leave the car unlocked from now on…nothing in it to take anyway. but I’ve been reading about a lot of car thefts in beaufort gazette in okatie/beaufort area as of late so that is scary too. the dozen flounder and sheepshead wasn’t worth the cost of repairs, thats for sure!

Man that sucks! Hate it for you. I’ve got an older truck that I use exclusively for pulling my boat. Keep nothing of value in it and leave the doors unlocked.
On the insurance card and registration could just be a dumb ass running a car with out any and thinks to use it? Or just plain being mean and spiteful. ??? who knows how a crooks mind works 
Also heard that a couple of vehicles got their catalytic converters cut out at Steel Bridge. (combahee hwy 17)
