Lost to a bad USC team, yes…in game one…with Coach Quit and their starting QB in the game…but we all know that the better team did not win that night. Doesn’t matter, we lost to a bad team.
Then we won 11 straight. Debate all you want about the quality of teams, but they won 11 straight, beat Beamer in Blacksburg at his last home game. Won their division and played right to the end with the number one team in the country. Did lose to Baylor, but Baylor is a solid team, better than some of the New Year’s six teams I saw. I fully admit they are not in the upper tier at all, but they are a solid top 20 team. The AP gives them more credit than I do and I’m a Heel fan. So, maybe you make a point.
Either way, the AP sees them as top 10 and ranked as high as 8 at one point. Only one bad loss this year…the other two, we got beat by better teams.

A lot like OU. The USCjr loss was all Larry’s fault for not playing Hood on the goal line., others were just better teams. Would have to sit down and think about top 10 but def top 15.

Bingo. I think he learned his lesson after that game but again…we didn’t get it done that night. USC gets the braggin’ rights - on that game anyway.
Kind of messing with the guys here on the USC basketball, but they do have good teams this year. They should be very happy with the direction they are going.
