Broad river landing at low tide?

Is there any issue with putting a 25’ boat in at low tide at the broad river bridge landing? Heading offshore out of there. Thanks

It can get low.

I’m not sure now, I know they recently did a dredging and improvement project there but I haven’t used it since. Prior to that you couldn’t launch a jon boat at low tide. A safer bet would be to drive 2 more miles down the road to the Lemon Island landing on the Cheechessie. It’s good at all tides, even for larger boats, and no further to the ocean and a more protected run out the sound.

My 16’ carolina skiff “hung up” on bottom getting out at dead low. They did dredge but just past the marsh grass is nothing but a big mud/sand flat that has filled back in.

I got out and floated boat about 20 yards before I could go again. I might have been able to power through it, but didn’t want the mud/sand run through the water pump.

While I was out of boat I did walk a bit and found no channel past the grass. I thought I might have missed it.
