Broad River Pier report 9/28 with video

Caught a couple small fish. Then when night came the bull reds started hitting. Landed and tagged 3. Smallest was 37.5in. Here is a video of the catches: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcBC3_I78BM&feature=youtu.be

How do you release them? Lower them down in the basket or just chunk them back in the water? I never pulled a fish that big onto a bridge.

Cool video. Happy to see people having success off that pier. I used to fish there before it was the old bridge. Do you try for cobia off there in the spring? I’ve seen some big brownies hauled up from the end.

We just throw them down head first.

Thanks. No, haven't tried for cobia yet.
