Yep june 1 …woohoo 5 whole fish…
where can this be verified ? Can’t find it on DNR website
5 fish would hardly warrant the trip.

Per angler.
One small caveat is that you can probably find 5 very big fish.

We didn’t today. A few 12"'rs some 11" guys. Stayed near Jetties. We didn’t see many get caught on the boat around us.

We went a little before the season opened, just prospecting for when the season opens. Fishing sucked, one 11" was the only fish even close to the 13" min.
it took me longer to get anchored, get the bait out then it did to get my 5 15 inch BSB yesterday…
What a pathetic limit that is.
Just shove a few extrees your tackle center matey-----argghhh…
stick em down in your bilge…load it up
I should bring my 3 month old nephew just to get 5 extra.

No need to even go offshore. My son and I were catching them yesterday inshore at Hilton Head. We were fishing under a bridge for sheepshead and caught nothing but BSB!

Would any of you guys support reducing the BSB size limit so you could keep more fish and reduce regulatory discards? What about opening BSB at the same time as shallow-water grouper to reduce regulatory discards?
Seeing as how they shut down bee liners when we don’t come close to the acl I don’t think we matter. It’s as though Kim jung IL runs this show.
It matters IF enough of us stand united behind positive solutions. I am working on the SAFMC’s Visioning Project and looking for fishermen who want to offer positive solutions most open-minded people can support. Is anyone interested in being part of this project?
