Bull reds at Folly

Fished the pier pretty much all day. Turns out I was in the wrong spot. I thought Reds were in the breakers? 3/4of the way down the pier I hooked a 3 1/2 foot Blacktip that put on an amazing aerial display before breaking me off at the pylons. Then went out to the end just in time to see a 38" Red. Was then shown pics of one well over 40" caught this morning. Also saw pics of one caught yesterday that went in the same range.
I tried to post a pic, but keeps coming up Internet Explorer error. My pic is a PNC and it wants jpeg, maybe?

If the photo is over 500kb it won’t post and an internet error will come up. Check the photo size by right clicking on it and checking the properties. Re-size as needed.

Wellcraft V-20 sportfish with a 200 Evinrude

Thank you!! I hit the pier on Saturday about 2 hours before high tide. The day was perfect, but the water was very murky. Wasted lots of fresh mullet on lots of skates. Quit when my dumb butt stuck my thumb too close to one’s mouth. Didn’t know they had so many sharp teeth!

if the water clears up out at folly you should fish a live shrimp under a cork near the breakers. should be some decent trout fishing this time of year
