Headed out around 8:30 to Calibogue Sound for bull reds with a crew of 3. Anchored up across from Harbour Town on a nice rip on an incoming tide. One other boat arrived not far from us. We had no luck at the first spot and moved several times with no success. Other angler also had no luck and left . After several hours we moved out to the rockpile by Sav. shipping channel. I ended up anchoring on the rocks which was a mistake. We had a lot of trouble keeping baits down with so many small blackfish . We ended up catching one nice red which was warmly embraced by Brian, which was the largest fish he had caught( thus the warm interchange between angler and fish- I guess?) We had a great lunch at Freeport Marina and watched a Clemson victory to top the day off.
