How has redfishing been in the surf/folly pier lately?
I haven’t seen any red action on the pier in a few weeks now. I have had a few friends catch some around the mouths of creeks in the surf.

Its summer, water temp over 75F. They are around but very very few. Grillage and deeper holes near harbor be best bet now.
Bull Reds?..Not sure what you would consider a “Bull”. 40"+…not likely. 30"…in the right spot…sure. The warming water brings warm water fish. Sharks, Rays, Bluefish, Specks. The Black Drum seem to be thick this year as well. If you fish cut bait hoping for a “Bull” Red, as papa said getting through the Sharks and Rays will be tough.
haha parker, the sharks were slamming my shrimp rod too the other day. I couldn’t get away from them. no black drum for me this year though
