Camping on the Beach

A couple of friends and I are wanting to fish through the night and were wondering if we are allowed to make camp on the beach? We would probably go to si or Folly. I am fairly certain we cannot start any kind of fire, but as far as setting up a tent for those who want to sleep I am not sure. Any information would help!

I see bums sleeping on the beach chairs for the people that stay at the Tides Hotel. That could be a last ditch effort plan lol

You could probably at kiawah, walk down the stono side called sandy point. Just set up csmp as far as possible from the water mark, sbd dont do it on a flood tide!
