Have seen a few schools of little guys so far. About 3 1/2 inches.

I was fishing off the broad river pier and caught several large greenies - bigger than my palm.

We do not rise to the occassion…but fall to the level of our training

Plenty of greenies to be jigged up…did not look for menhaden…too windy and rough

There’s 2 pipes that dump out underneath the Mark Clark in the creek that runs past the Daniel Island Marina on the Cooper River side. Throw the cast net a few feet out from the pipe once or twice, you’ll have all the Menhaden you’d ever need. They seem to be there year round.
